We made plans for a boat trip for today. We were to be picked up at 2:10. No one came. We called. No one picked up. We went to the booth where we paid a deposit, and they sent us somewhere else. We went there, but no ride. We went to another booth nearby, and they said it would be a couple minutes. Ten minutes later (and an hour past our pick up time) we gave up. Guy at the booth calls people. I say give us back the deposit. He calls people and tries to hand me the phone. I say give us back the deposit. Reluctantly, he gives us back the deposit. The van pulls up. We don't get on. We have lost trust in this operation.
We hit the reset button and sit down at a lovely restaurant- BONA FIDE- for drinks. We go to the Dubrovnik harbor and get on a different boat with a different outfit and have a lovely time. Whew!
